Dear Casper-ites, At the University of Washington, Seattle, we are using a new technique to measure nuclear beta decay spectra and search for hints of new physics by measuring cyclotron radiation frequencies of betas in magnetic fields of a few Tesla. The technique requires measurements in the tens of GHz range with few GHz bandwidth. I think people in Casper have the right background to help this experiment move forward. I hope some of you can consider applying. You can find a recent preprint at: https://arxiv.org/abs/2209.02870.
