There is no binary serialization in Silverlight and hence no SerializableAttribute (and others).
How would people prefer me to remove these? 1. Pollute the source with lots of #if (!SILVERLIGHT) directives 2. Create a dummy SerializableAttribute in Silverlight which will mean everything will compile but the attributes will be ignored. I feel this pullutes the final API. 3. A combination of 2 and PostSharp would allow the dummy attributes declarations to be removed from the final assemblies. This is probably cleanest solution but puts more complexity on the build and adds a dependency on PostSharp. Have I missed any solutions? I am voting for 1. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Castle Project Development List" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
