My opinion is that contrib projects, as being loosely coupled to Castle Project should live in their own repositories wholly owned and maintained by their contributors. By the virtue of being official Contrib projects should only conform to the following:
- have explicit notice that they are part of Castle Contrib, with link to castleproject.org - have Apache 2.0 license. - conform to Castle Project standard. - be listed in the Contrib section of castleproject.org - keep docs in Castle Wiki this gives the maximum control and flexibility to whoever maintains the contrib project.
