Hi, Yes, I definitely think we should have a common theme to the web site. I'm a bit on/off in the discussion here during the weeks due to (a lot of) other work, but I'm working on the subpages where the documentation will go. It will match up with the start-page. I'll also take your advice and decrease the amount of accordion and add documentation links next to the download links.
JIRA seems powerful but might drag it all down if it's too cumbersome to work with; on the other hand, it's better than the xml files of the main site, imo. I might have some solutions for these problems in the near future, but first I'm going to focus on doc and design (to the extent of a first-page and unified services-components section). JIRA supports templates quite well, it seems but I haven't figured out how exactly to program them just yet. I'm still trying to reach the deadline for my own project (Tx/TxF/Tx-mgmt), so we can migrate to GIT, which I also feel is vital for the project. (be prepared for a bigger patch soon ;)) IMO: As long as we get some sort of nice unified design up at the front, we'll be able to fix the rest, even if it's a subdomain for JIRA. I'm not sure about where to write documentation now though; where would you like me to write it? Using or jira studio? And I believe Henrik is actually working on other pages now. Henry, I think plan b should be put in action, I know understand what "JIRA Studio" is and what is not, I should have noticed to word "JIRA" in it, so JIRA Studio really only gives us JIRA and that is it :( Cheers John On Feb 18, 8:38 am, Krzysztof Koźmic <[email protected]> wrote: > Do we really care ifhttp://castleproject.orgis JIRA? > > Especially considering Henrik's recent efforts to revitalize the > website without JIRA. > I don't really have a problem with having custom mainpage and rest as > www2, using, meta, or something else > > On Feb 17, 9:53 pm, Henry Conceição <[email protected]> wrote: > > > We can host a newer version of confluence on our current server, as a > > plan b.
