I also had a problem unzipping the downloaded file. I was trying to use MonoRail under Mono on Linux, and the zip tools in Linux didn't want to know.
I ended up downloading the zip on Windows to unzip it (and for convenience sending across a new zip made with 7zip). Clunky. There's really no excuse for using a format of zip that will fail on a number of well known zip file managers, at least not for a publicly downloadable zip. If I'd tried using MonoRail under Linux first, not knowing I could unzip it one way or another, I'd assume the file was broken (because that's what the zip manager was telling me) and stop right there. How many people have therefore been deterred from getting involved in the project because of something this simple?
