I agree with you that Database.expireCache() should be flagged as @deprecated. Will 
commit this a.s.a.p. In addition, please bear in mind that I do plan to 
provide release notes with the 0.9.6 release that explain in detail the changes 
implemented as part of this release (as there are some major ones).
