Dave, that pretty much sums it up. I have a cleat on the port side of the boom, about two feet aft of the mast, that I use to tie off the jacks whether they are deployed or stowed. When stowed, I bring both lines on each side around their respective cleat on the mast, then I make it taut and tie it off.
