Larry,

Congratulations. And condolences. Simultaneously and intensely.

Do stay on the list if it's not too painful. We'd miss you if you weren't here. And be assured that it will always be easy for you to catch a ride on a C27. I may have you take me sailing on my boat - my back has some renewed issues and I may need surrogate captaining to get out much this year.

Hope you told the new owner about the C27/270A and our little nest of anarchy here.

And Godspeed, Chicken.

Chris

Hi all,

Well I sold my beloved and cursed Dixie Chicken on Friday. Very nice guy
bought it. He got a good price on the boat. I'm suddenly very sad. You
really pour so much of your life, sweat, money and soul into a boat that
it almost seems to have its own personality. But I can see that I just
don't have the time and energy to put into working on it and sailing it
like I use to have.

C27's are great boats though, arn't they?! I helped the new owner shuffle
the boat to Calvert marina on Saturday. We sailed it. He was just loving
the performance. He kept refering to his old boat as a 'tub' compared to
the C27.

Ahhhh. So sad... So sad...

The wife seems pleased.

I mourn.
