Lance,
I use a antifreeze jug (you may have to find something else) which
just barely slides under the engine. I cut out one corner on the
side, but before sliding it in I back out the drain plug a bit and
tie a string on it. With the jug in place I can just get two fingers
in to finish backing out the plug and let it drop in the jug. Be
sure the top is on. The string is used to fish it out of the oil. It
is quick and works great while not making a mess. Once out I remove
the top and pour into a larger disposal container.

For those who have the Universal 5411, how do you drain the oil?
According to the manual listed below, you siphon it out with a pump
through the dipstick port. That sounds too complicated for this
Southerner!
