Why knot go to a folding prop? Mine has one and it works great!

        Sounds like a lot. My guess maybe 0.1-0.2 kts, under the right
conditions. Unless you're a racer, probably not a big factor.

        I need to clarify.  Re. the extra 1/2 knot.  I am under the
impression with less drag from a two blade prop, under sail boat speed
will increase, i.e. 1/2 knot.
