Thanks for your response Keith. I keep the boat out in Greenport and will be out there tomorrow getting it ready for the season. I think there are a few lofts out there that can take car of this for me if I can't do it myself. I am hoping to actually take care of it myself but we'll see!

However, you are situated near a number of sail lofts, and if you can afford it, you can get the work done for you. If you can't find any sail lofts right by you, then try Hathaway and Reiser in Stamford (http://www.hathaways.com/). They are not cheap, but they treated me very fairly with a repair some years ago.
