They sometimes don't trash them after 60 tacks... sometimes they wait until
they return to port to trash them.  They "could" make 60+ tacks in a race.
It is fun to watch the races even though it doesn't really seem to relate to
what I do on the water.  Also there was a very good show on the history of
the America's Cup last Saturday morning on ESPN Classic narrated by Walter
Cronkite, a sailor himself.  If it comes around again be sure to catch it.
