The cam cleats are located directly to either side, slightly forward, of the mainsheet, on the traveler (i.e., part of the traveler). They were set up to lock the port sheet to the starboard cam cleat, and vice versa, but I found the lines were cumbersome and confusing. Besides they hung up behind the tiller with the mainsheet. Now they have a starboard cam cleat for the starboard sheet, and port cam cleat for port. I raced this weekend for the first time with this configuration, and found it worked better. I think that cam cleats that are NOT part of the traveler would work better yet.
