This session will be an opportunity to talk about what is working well with ebooks in your library. Come share your experiences and knowledge with colleagues as we discuss questions such as: * What purchase or access model(s) is your library using to provide ebooks to users? What makes it work for you library? * How are your users most frequently discovering your ebooks? * What has been the best way to gather user feedback about ebooks? What trends has this helped identify? * What experiments has your library tried with ebooks and how did impact the current approach? The position involves a two-year term; first year as Chair-Elect and the second as Chair of the group. The Chair for 2015-2016 will be Martin Knott from the University of Michigan, replacing outgoing Chair Jeannie Castro of the University of Houston. Responsibilities for the Chair-Elect/Chair include serving as leader of ERIG and representing ERIG before ALCTS officials; leading and working with past Chairs and members to coordinate the ERIG meetings which entail arranging the meeting space and equipment at ALA Annual and Midwinter conferences, arranging guest presentations and discussion topics at meetings of the Interest Group, and reporting to ALCTS about each meeting.
