Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------

     9/14: 2 SANDHILLCRANES, 5 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS and an astounding 68 
GREAT EGRETS were seen at Knox-Marsellus Marsh on East Road.
     From 9/18 to 9/20 up to 7 AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVERS were seen in the 
mucklands along Rt. 31. Also seen was a PIPPET.
     9/20: 6 SANDHILL CRANES were seen at Knox-Marcellus Marsh.


Madison County
------------

     9/15: A BAIRD’S SANDPIPER was found at the turf farm on Lakeport Road.
     9/18: A LINCOLN’S SPARROW was found on Ditchbank Road.
     9/19: At Ditchbank Road A PHILADELPHIA VIREO, a LINCOLN’S SPARROW, 2 
SOLITARY SANDPIPERS, 1 LEAST SANDPIPER, and 6 Warbler species were found.
     9/20: 16 AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVERS were found at the turf farm.


Oswego County
------------

     9/16: 7 species of Raptor were seen in a flight over Bishop Hill Road 
north of Pulaski. 605 BROADWING HAWKS were the largest number of any 1 species.
     9:20: Nearly 1000WOODDUCKS were seen flying into a marsh on McLoud Road 
north of Oneida Lake. BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO, SWAINSON’S THRUSH, BARRED and GREAT 
HORNED OWL were all found at Amboy.


Onondaga County
------------

     9/16: 2 PHILADELPHIA VIREOS and a COMMON RAVEN were among the birds found 
at Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville.
     9/18: An AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVERwas seen with the Killdeer at the upper 
parking lot at the State Fairgrounds.


Oneida County
------------

     9/20: A PEREGRINE FALCON was seen near Waterville.


Cayuga County
------------

     9/20: At Fairhaven 4 SEMI-PALMATED PLOVERS, 6 SANDERLING, and 1 LEAST 
SANDPIPER were seen
