Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------

     10/26: A HUDSONIAN GODWIT was still present at the visitor’s center.
     10/30: 16 SANDHILL CRANES were seen in Knox-Marsellus Marsh! BLACK-BELLIED 
PLOVER, GREATER YELLOWLEGS, DUNLIN, GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, and 
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK were seen along the wildlife trail. Also seen were at least 
10 
species of Duck.


Oneida County
------------

     10/26: 2 CATTLE EGRETS wer found at the corner of Timian and Sulfur 
Springs 
Road in Saquoit. The birds were present the next day also.
     10/28: A single CATTLE EGRET was found on Daytonville Road in Saquoit.
     10/29: 3 CATTLE EGRETS were seen on Osbourne Ave in Waterville.


Cortland County
------------
     10/25: A single CATTLE EGRET was seen at the corner of Cold Brook Road and 
Rt. 281 in Homer.


Oswego County
------------

     10/26: PINE SISKIN, PURPLE FINCH, and EVENING GROSBEAK were all at a 
feeder 
in Constantia. At Derby Hill2 EVENING GROSBEAKS, PINE SISKIN, RED-THROATED 
LOON, 
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, GOLDEN EAGLE, and 22 CAVE SWALLOWS were seen. At Sandy Pond 
an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER was found.
     10/28: At Derby Hill all three SCOTERS, LITTLE GULL, AMERICAN GOLDEN 
PLOVER, and 4 PARASITIC JAEGERS were seen.     

     10/29: 3 WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS were seen on Oneida Lake in Constantia.
     10/30: At Derby Hill FOX SPARROW, VESPER SPARROW (nearby), all three 
scoters, 1 PARASITIC JAEGER, and 2 LITTLE GULLS were found.


Madison County
------------

     10/27: A GOLDEN EAGLE was seen at the Great Swamp Conservancy in Lenox.
     10/28: 2 CACKLING GEESE were seen along Lakeport Road. A BLACK-BELLIED 
PLOVER and distant PEEP were seen at the corner of Ditchbank and Gee Roads, 
also 
known as Oniontown.


Cayuga County
------------

     10/30: A CACKLING GOOSE was seen in the pond at Fairhaven State Park. The 
next day a single SANDERLING was on the beach on the west (public) side.


Extralimital
------------

     10/31: A PACIFIC LOON was reported near Sheldrake Point on Cayuga Lake.
