These birds remained through the week and were all seen during the Muckrace on
Saturday (9/11). There have been no reports since then.

9/8: An immature FRANKLIN’S GULL was found in Puddler’s Marsh, the far
pool
at Knox-Marcellus Marsh. It was not relocated since that date. 10 RED-NECKED
PHALAROPES were seen from Towpath Road.

9/10: A SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was seen flying in the North Spring Pool
area but was not refound. A BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER was seen in the new
shorebird area on the Wildlife Trail. It was kind enough to stick around for
the
Muckrace.
9/11: A YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD was seet near Coot Pond on Howland Island.
2 HUDSONIAN GODWITS were seen at May’s Point Pool. There have been no other

seemed
to be present for the contestants.

Road.

Onondaga County
------------

9/11: 2 LINCOLN’S SPARROWS were found at Three Rivers WMA.
