I know there are some killer yards out there, and some magic ones, that report wonderful birds and maybe if I stayed home more my yard total would increase, but I had my first Blackpoll Warbler this morning. I was excited enough to leave the coffee boiling too long.
At Ford Rd. yesterday while searching for Acadian Flycatcher there was a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher giving his loud "Turree" call. I have seen them here before, but not recently.
