Neighbors on Lansing Station Rd. have on their porch an easily viewed Carolina
Wren nest from which the pair recently fledged 4 babies. The Wren then laid 4
new eggs, but abandoned the nest for some reason. The eggs sat unattended for a
week.
Then they noticed that a Dark Eyed Junco had taken up residence in the nest and
laid 4 of its own eggs and is now sitting on all 8 eggs!
