A group of us watched four (unless that fourth one doubled back unnoticed to join the other three) of the Scofield Road SHORT-EARED OWLS just after sunset yesterday (Wednesday). They spent most of their time over the western side of the large field located to the west of the road. It was great to have young, enthusiastic birders enjoying the show.
