No further reports after this day. 5/19: A YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was found on South Spring Pond Trail and was relocated up to today. 3 WILSON’S PHALAROPES were seen from Carncross Road. 5/20: 5 BRANT were at the Visitor’s Center. A WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER was seen on the Wildlife Drive. 5/21: An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER was found in the wooded area of Carncross Road and was found through the 24th. An ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen on South Spring Trail. A RUDDY TURNSTONE was seen from Carncross Road. 5/22: A female RUFF was seen at the Visitor’s Center.A SWAINSON’S THRUSH was found at Esker Brook Trail. 5/23: CERULEAN WARBLER was found at Howland Island and Armitage Road.A LEAST BITTERN was heard at Tschache Pool. PROTHONOTARY WARBLER continues at the forested area of Armitage Road.A CAPE MAY WARBLER was seen on the South Spring Pond Trail. 3 WILSON’S PHALAROPES , a RUDDY TURNSTONE and a SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER were seen at the Visitor’s Center. 5/24: 6 WILSON’S PHALAROPES were seen at the Visitor’s Center. A WILSON’S WARBLER was seen on Towpath Road. A PHILADELPHIA VIREO was seen on VanDyne Spoor Road. Onondaga County ------------ 5/18: A PRAIRIE WARBLER was seen at Green Lakes State Park. A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen at Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville. 5/19: A SEDGE WREN was seen in the big fields area of three Rivers WMA. A BLACK VULTURE was seen from Jamesville Road near Rt. 481. 5/21: 2 PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS were seen from a boat at the south end of Cross Lake. 5/22: An ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen at Green Lakes State Park. 5/23: A LINCOLN’S SPARROW was seen from the north end of the Creekwalk near Destiny in Syracuse. A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was seen at the Dewitt Landfill. LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH was seen at the Tioghnioga WMA and the Mason Hill Preserve. A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen from Oran Delphi Road. 5/24: A LEAST BITTERN was seen at Ladd marsh near Oneida Shores Park. Oswego County ------------ 5/18: A GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH was seen at Sunset Bay Park on Lake Ontario. 5/19: RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen at Derby Hill and Nine Mile Point Road on Lake Ontario. 5/20: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard at the Roosevelt Road Sand Pit north of Oneida Lake. 5/22: A SEDGE WREN was found on Hellinger Road north of Rt. 40 in West Monroe. An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER was found on Searles Road in Parish. A FORSTER’S TERN, a RED KNOT, a MARBLED GODWIT and a WHIMBREL were seen at Sandy Pond Outlet on Lake Ontario. Madison County ------------ At least 25 RED CROSSBILLS continue at the Tioghnioga WMA near Erieville. 5/18: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen on Lyon Road south of Cazenovia. 5/20: A GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER was seen on Peterson Hollow Road near Erieville. A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen at Woodman Pond north of hamilton. 5/22: An ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen on Yorton Road in Canastota. 5/24: A SWAINSON’S THRUSH was seen on Indian Lookout Road north of Cazenovia. Oneida County ------------ RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS continue at Verona Beach State Park on Oneida Lake. 5/15: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard of Preston Hill north of Oneida Lake. 5/19: A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen on Brown tract Road north of Remson.
