Dave this is a very entertaining debate.......

I believe you are correct on the first part but I was told you only add 2 years 
to your expiration, and writtens only extend 2 years from that date when taken 
within the 2 year window.  So you can't extend out 10 years, only 4..... so I 
was told.....
