I personally recomend to take capture of all the configs of the switches
and routers and save them in individual files... because if you mess with
some pre-existng configuration, then you would have a backup what was
earlier configured...

apart from that while reading through the lab at the begining, check what
kind of firewalls you are getting,
Routed/transparent/Multicontex/Multicontext-FO.  .. in either case make
sure that you start with your FW's mode changed, because a reload takes
more than 90 seconds on each firewall,,, you can continue reading the lab
in the mean time.
