i've uninstalled and reinstalled gns3 (both standalone and all-in-one) and used
the settings advised

i'll try again in a day or two

Hello Adil,
So to be honest I didn't actually define a second ASA in Qemu, I just added it
to the map. Both ASA's work great so I personally I don't think you should have
an issue getting all 4 up and running. I also used the same activation-key for
both of my firewalls. ASA1 and ASA2 in my diagram are running 8.0.2...

Hello James,
I created 1 ASA 8.4 successfully. But when I used the following config for
second ASA the console does not come up.
Qemu Options: -vnc :2 none -vga none -m 1024 -icount auto -hdachs 980,16,32

I also wanted to create 4 ASAs as in the new lab.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Best Regards.

I used this link to get the ASA running 8.4 working in GNS3 running on Win 7
x64:

I haven't taken the time to get IOS 15.x running because I am not sure what the
performance hit is going to be since the only router in GNS3 that supports it
is a 7206 VXR...

Here is what my lab looks like in GNS3. I have a VM of WSA but haven't added it
yet because I still need to get a valid license which I am hoping will be
soon...
