Is the following an accurate statement?

 

A microflow or aggregate policer applies to the ACL, not to the port or
VLAN.

 

For instance, a policer/ACL can be applied to port(s), vlan(s), or
combination of vlan(s) and port(s); therefore, the following should hold
true:

 

Microflow - polices on a per flow basis originating from any devices on
any of to the ports or vlans to which the ACL is applied.

Aggregate - polices sum of all traffic originating from any devices on
any of to the ports or vlans to which the ACL is applied.
