Like Stefan said, it is more theoretical, than hands-on. Also, for the current blueprint, it has several features that aren't available in the 4.2 train (like VideoStream). If I was preparing for the written exam, or just beginning preparation for the lab, I would take a look at it. I did look at it after I took the lab the first time, which was a little late. But, I had a Safari subscription, which made it easy to look and see. If you're preparing for the written or starting lab prep (which I know you - Kelvin, Stefan, and Darby - are not), Safari is a good investment.

In my opinion it's a good source for theoretical knowledge, but not really connected to the practical exam.
