To save time working out some canned configurations that you know you can use can save time: http://leigh-cciewireless.blogspot.com/search/label/canned%20configs *Use Notepad*: One of the big time wasters is gathering all the configuration. I found using something as simple as notepad helps http://leigh-cciewireless.blogspot.com/2011/03/notepad-i-love-you.html * Leave 802.11a/802.11b Disabled*: Best to leave them shutdown until the end when you start to test so you can easily apply configurations * Read the entire question and ensure you know ALL the answers before starting *: With no partial marks, it is not work wasting you time on any questions on the first pass unless you know all the answers (unless its foundational and then you need to push through). Best to skip them and move onto another question you know you can answer and come back on the second pass. *Console Time-outs*: Save having to log back in every time by removing the time-outs on the consoles can save precious time http://leigh-cciewireless.blogspot.com/2011/02/look-out-for-those-time-wasters.html *Plan*: Sit down prior to the exam and work out exactly how you are going to approach it and stick to the plan.
