I also have a WLC running LAG (v4.2) In its case, the Management MAC and the BI MAC are the same. So, it could be that your situation is one of those small number. I myself did not use WCS to configure this during my lab attempts. But, it appears to be generally sound, with your situation noted and should be verified during the test if used (just like everything else should be verified!)
