Hi,

I was studying about TxBeamforming configuration and I saw that some people recommend to enable the TxBeamforming using the GUI or CLI (config 802.11a beamforming global enable) as well as the 3 AP antennas (A,B,C) as MUST.

In theory TxBeamforming should not require the antenna C (middle one is only Rx) to be used since it´s a TX technology and it should only require the radios A and B. If the request was about MRC with optimum gain than I will agree that the 3 "antennas" (radio chains) should be enabled to "hear" the client with the 3 receivers.

Any comments about it?

I´m afraid of to get this kind of question that you can´t really verify if it´s working and the configuration that I saw people recommending does not look correct.
