Hi Group

I will appreciate if someone can help on the following topic:

In the CCNP Voice course, they explain the best practice to configure a
switch port connected to WLCs (Trunk), APs (access), and HREAP/autonomous
APs (Trunk). For the AP on a trunk port, the course recommends the
following:

switch(config)# int g 0/10
switch(config-if)# mls qos trust dscp
switch(config-if)# srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20
switch(config-if)# srr-queue bandwidth shape 10 0 0 0
switch(config-if)# priority-queue out

In the exam, I know that it all depends on the exact question, but if we
are talking in general, the trunk links between switches will be configured
same as above.

My question is, how do you configure 6500 switch ports for queuing? In 6500
it is platform and image dependent. I have one which I can access and I
cannot use srr-queue on it while other versions might support.

So I will appreciate if one of the experts can give the recommended queuing
configuration on a 6500 (srr or wrr).
I would like also to know if the shaping/sharing values above are the best
practice or else?

Regards
