Thanks Michael, good tip. Jeff figured out my particular issue was caused by –
using an AP with external antennas, which doesn't support OEAP. I appreciate
the input, though!

Hi Jay,
Back in “old days”, there was lic.model on 5508s: you’d need a PLUS-lic to use
OE and DTLS.
But as said, that’s some time ago (6.0??), but it would look exactly like your
problem, if that lic. is missing.
Greetings …

Hey Kyle -

I've tried it on two separate controllers and AP's. I'm getting the same
results with a 1242 / 3502 and 5508 / 2504. And yes, 2504 does have DTLS.

Jay,

What AP model and Controller are you using for this test?

WLC needs to be a 5508 and a newer AP model such as the 1131 or newer.

Kyle

So I'm sure I'm missing something stupid right now, but I need a point in the
right direction. I want to setup an AP in OE, which I've done in my lab
before. But this time, when I convert the AP to H-Reap and let it reboot, I
get the "H-REAP" tab for the AP but the section for Office Extend is missing.
It has "VLAN Support" and "HREAP Group Name", but then nothing else on the page.

I've read through the config guides, watched the IPX VoD, and checked multiple
other "walkthroughs" to see what I'm missing. But each time, I just see the AP
converted to H-REAP, reboot, and then check the box in the H-REAP tab (which is
how I remember configuring it previously as well). What am I missing that's
keeping the option from even appearing?

Thanks -
