It worked in Phaser version 1.2, but my test on a rhombohedral case indeed fails in the same way you report for versions 1.3.1 and 1.3.2. We'll fix it again for the next release, but in the meantime you should be fine if you switch to the hexagonal setting. Sorry about that! -- Randy J.
