Radiation damage leads to loss of structure, leading to increasing thermodynamic variability, peak spread, and loss of high resolution peaks. This suggests a strategy to counteract these effects. Use high precipitant concentrations or additives to shrink the crystal lattice prior to data collection. Has anyone tried this? Regards, Michael L.
