Dear Veronica,
I had the same problem after having changed my preference in the
CCP4i GUI; I can not be sure you are seeing the same problem from the
info you send, but here what you can always check ...
In the main CCP4i window, go to the 'Preferences' (close to the
bottom of the right column).
In produced window (see attached image), you have to make sure that
the check box in front of 'In Refmac5 interface give output map names
explicitly' is NOT checked (which is normally the default but might
have been changed in your installation).
In my case that's what made the difference (un-checking the box, made
me able to run refmac jobs, otherwise it was also producing the error
you saw).
