When I have seen a similar error it normally means that there is a
problem with writing to the scratch directory. You might like to
check your $CCP4_SCR environment setting and make sure it is
pointing towards a folder which you have write permissions for (and
which exists...). It's normally defined in the ccp4.setup file.
$CCP4_SCR point to /tmp/harry, which I can read from and write to...
