I remember cuting and pasting on my little board in my cubicle Table I from Randy Read, Acta Cryst (1986), when I was a graduate student wondering about sigmaA. It is a table of definitions of terms and formulas, and helps one conceptually understand the terminology. It is from before the days of free R-statistics, so you may not be able to find in there how they are calculated these days, but it is still a good reference.

Hi,
What do m and D indicate in the Fourier coefficients for a 2mFo-DFc map?

I've dug a bit in web and CCP4 doc but not found an explanation, though I'm
sure its there.

Thanks,

Mark
