Dear all,

We are seeking highly motivated candidates to join Dr. Chia-Hsueh Lee's
laboratory at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as postdoctoral fellows to
lead exciting research initiatives. The lab use cryo-EM and a range of
biochemical/biophysical methods to study the function of membrane protein
complexes (e.g. Wang et al., NSMB 2021; Lee and MacKinnon, Cell, 2019; Lee and
MacKinnon, Science, 2018).

The lab has frequent access to the state-of-the-art cryoEM facility at St.
Jude, which houses a 300kV Titan Krios, a 200kV Arctica, and a 120kV Talos
L120C microscope. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for
learning and navigating new research fields and are comfortable pursuing highly
impactful scientific advances.

Candidates with experiences in protein biochemistry, including protein
expression and purification, or other related fields are encouraged. Excellent
communication skills and a collaborative attitude are essential. Good project
management and good scientific writing are expected. Additional expertise in
structural biology (single-particle cryo-EM or X-ray crystallography) would be
a plus, but not required. We welcome candidates from underrepresented groups to
apply.

Please email Dr. Chia-Hsueh Lee ([email protected]) for more details.
