There is also an issue with bug #1565 [http://bugs.motifzone.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1565] in 2.3.4 that was reopened lately. The bug itself doesn't occur on CDE, but the patch completely breaks menu navigation with mnemonics and arrow keys. The only solution so far is to rebuild Motif with the patch removed.
