I'm not aware of anything else, and you reported the patch as being sufficient back then. So I don't know what else might be a problem, though I recall that setting sloppy focus was the workaround for the old bug. For mwm, that was doable via: Mwm*keyboardFocusPolicy: pointer so I wonder if that setting that (s/Mwm/Dtwm/) *might* avoid the issue, or if it doesn't.
