Hi All My take on this is a bit different. I distribute a disk with OOo 1.1.4 and 2.0 Beta for Windows and Linux only. I have yet to receive a request for a Solaris version, and none so far for Mac. I also include the dictionaries and templates. Bonus software includes Gimp, Mozilla, Firefox, Thunderbird , Java 1.5, and 7-Zip. This all takes up 698MB and I needed to include the templates as a zip file to do it. Rather than try to squeeze all versions onto a DVD, why not keep a copy of The Solaris and Mac install on a single iso, and put the Windows and Linux together on another? Now I know that all the main Linux players have OOo in their distro, but there are some people at the end of the copper on Windows who may just decide to take the leap into Linux, and so a CD with Lin and Win could be of real assistance. Anywhere that they run Solaris they would most likely have sufficient bandwidth to download their own. When version 2 is available for Mac I expect that we will see a surge of interest. I for one will be calling all the design houses to see if they would like to embrace the light side of the Force. We will probably never get a complete picture of how many copies are installed, but by far, the largest area of interest is from Windows users (ie in my country). -- Andrew Greig Community Distributor OpenOffice.org __________________________________________________________________ Switch to Netscape Internet Service.
