Most currently have stripped the Java capabilities of OO.o. There has been
some headway building OO.o with free Java replacements (such as building with
gcj) but there is still a long way to go on that path, What this means is
that the new database component (Base) probably will not be available with
the 2.0 builds from most distros. So there will be a place for a CD
containing the Linux build. Major problem is we'll probably need to find
a .deb based installer as well, since installing the RPMs on Debian-based
systems is still a nightmare. Still, the debs can replace the Solaris
installers. Mac OS is another story :)

:P) The real question is how much disk space Stardiv can spare for it. Most
likely I'll go for the two CDs - with 2.0 using "native3" installers, I can't
use the trick of eliminating redundant files, so the ISOs will be "rippable"
without the current problem of drastic increase in size. That will allow
individual distributors to modify and merge the individual images.
