Okay, I see. You mean a type of search called "find by name", not just an alphabetic listing. Is auto-completion as you type names available on web pages? I was going to say we should start off very simple, but of course if we use a database approach now, we really need to plan ahead what fields, and queries will be used. If we get this done well, could it not be hooked into Google's Adsense or something? (I have no experience with that.) Would that even be okay or too commercial from OOo's policy? I'm just thinking how we can get more visibility for OOo CDs and services.
