Hi Guys,

I know the problem is political, because we have received so much help
from Sun. And to leave it out of an official iso release would be
unthinkable. The question is: when Sun ships Solaris, just it just ship
a bare OS? Or, like Linux, does it also include some useful software? So
is it really required?

Most Linux Distributions include OpenOffice.org on their install discs,
so really, our largest market is the Win/Mac communities. (In the case
of Windows, I use the word "community" with tongue in cheek).

I have always included Linux on my CDs to indicate to the other users
that there is an alternative OS to Windows.

Perhaps we could build our own isos, using the installers that you
clever guys create, and approach the issue of which to send by asking
those requesting CDs to specify their OS in their initial contact.
