Usage of the logo is granted by a few number of volunteers - searching
for the "real" mails in a large number of SPAM:
Normally this takes a few days, but as they are involved in several
areas of OpenOffice.org (Florian Effenberger and John McCreesh as Lead
and Co-Lead of the Marketing Project, Louis Suarez-Potts as Community
Manager- perhaps there might be one or two others working on that
mails), sometimes they need a bit more time to reply.
And if they don't reply, your mail might be buried by the SPAM mails...
In future we'll provide a click-through permission request for most of
the areas where our (then updated) logo will be used, so I hope it will
be easier...
As suggested, I have sent a letter to [email protected] and
hope I will hear back soon.
I replied offlist, CC'ing John and Florian - I'm quite sure you'll get a
positive reply soon...
