Hi Marty, It's a convenience thing rather than a profit maker - I'm happy to lose a little on it or break even. Some of my stuff (training DVD's I create) need the user to use an office app and I would much rather show them how to do things in Open Office rather than the expensive bloatware that is MS Office. I want to give them the choice to buy a copy or download it. Also, any copies sold (even at a loss) would contain promotions for my other products.
The only problem is that the OO.o site is vague on the requirements for selling it! The main CD-ROM distribution section asks you to fill in your details and goes on to say that you can sell it straight away whilst the eBay page on OO.o implies you need permission - I can't work it out!
