However, there is ash, which is the /bin/sh from NetBSD. It's been
/bin/sh on my Debian system for some time now, seems to work fine. I
use zsh as interactive shell anyway, so it's nice to have a less
bloated shell for scripts. Ash is supposed to be somewhat faster than
bash too.
