It looks like the drive is not MMC!
.... I don't have any command reference from Ricoh for this drive :-(
As it supports mode page 2A, cdrecord believes that it is MMC.
Iven more interesting, it seems to be possible to select DAO writing with
MMC mode page 5. If it was MMC, then there must be a send cue sheet command.
cdrdao comments say that the drive uses CDD2600 commands for DAO.
I am not sure if I still have a working 2600. These drives all went bad
~ 2 years ago. Note that this (the dead) also applies to all drives using the
same mechanism:
Philips CDD3600, HP 7100 HP 7200 Ricoh 6200
I only own a dead HP 7100 which _is_ MMC (RAW only) as far as I know.
