Well it is disappointing. I tried to talk to [EMAIL PROTECTED], but they
dont support Linux.

Has any one got this drive Freecom Traveller II CD RW to work with USB or
Parallel Port?

I may have to go to the USB Cable option, then. I got the PCMCIA edition
because of the faster speed 8x4x24 rather than 4x4x6 as on the Iomega Predator.
Unfortunately my Dell does not have Firewire port,
otherwise I could have gone with that.

Has any one had success with other USB CD Burners on Linux laptops?
Predator, Anacom, HP

I never have been able to make a PC-Card ATAPI drive workunder Linux.

I had several disappointing discussions with Alan Cox.
It seems that the Linux kernel guys neither care nor understand the
problem :-(
