Just a little more info..
The output of cdrecord shows I'm writing at speed 2, when, in fact, I
called cdrecord with a speed=4 (the max my CD-RW can write CD-RWs.)
According to disk info, that should be fine (min speed = 4). Even if I
specify speed=1 (which, techincally, is blow the CD min speed of 4) it says
I'm writing at speed 2.
Results are the same regardless of version (1.10, 1.09, 1.11a15), and
using TAO or DAO mode.
If I run it on a HP CDWriter cd16r device, it works fine. (Burns at the
specified speed, using 1.11a15, RedHat 6.2 2.2-14)
Also tested it on a Plextor PX-W1610A, and it also works. (Same info as
above.)
So, obviously, it's a drive problem.
Great. Now I gotta talk my company into going out and replacing those &^*$
drives, if necessary.
Thanks.
Me.
