DVD-R can be read by most DVD players and DVD-ROMS.  DVD+RW can be read
by some, DVD-RW can be read by even less.  DVD-RW drives write DVD-R and
DVD-RW, DVD+RW writes DVD+RW and maybe alter models write DVD+R as well.
